Inspired by the homes of the Texas Hill Country and Napa Valley, the architecture at Larkspur features simple clean lines, touches of stone and natural wood and authentic details that create a timeless appearance. Architectural Designer Donna Southwick says, “We were working to capture the romantic inspiration found in the Hill Country and Napa, but we wanted to use modern materials that will meet the needs of today’s home buyer.”
The exteriors are painted in soft neutrals and accented with cultured stone to create a just the right aesthetic. The durable Hardie products are low maintenance and elevations range from traditional horizontal siding to vertical board and batten, or a combination of the two as often found in rustic farmhouses. Front porches are covered in real metal roofs and some homes feature a rough-hewn cedar post or even a wooden deck. Added Donna, “These homes are about texture and materials, and buyers will be able to create a variety of looks within the color palette of selections. Each home will have its own unique, rustic modern design.” For right-sizers, it’s fresh and different. And the perfect place to start a whole new chapter.
