On Saturday, Nov. 2, the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association presented Edward Andrews Homes with three awards – two gold and one silver – at the 33rd OBIE Awards. These prestigious awards are given to recognize outstanding achievement in new home building, marketing, remodeling and personal achievement categories.
The first award was received in the Best Building Design – Detached Model – 3,500 to 4,500 Square Feet category for its Rutledge model at Mabry Manor in East Cobb. The Rutledge model sits on a grassy, narrow knoll with a bevy of award-winning features. The home includes a spacious island kitchen and breakfast room, built-in bookshelves, a butler’s pantry and mudroom, large master suite and oversized bedrooms, and more.
The builder was also honored with a gold OBIE in the Best Interior Merchandising – Detached Model – $550,000 to $749,999 category for this same model, the Rutledge. The merchandising of this home was done with today’s family in mind. The interior space boasts durable fabrics and bright colors in the children’s living spaces and sophisticated patterns and substantial furniture pieces in the adult living areas. The open floor plan encourages family interaction and makes entertaining fun and easy.
Finally, Edward Andrews Homes won a silver OBIE in Best Interior Merchandising – Detached Model – $750,000 and above for Lake Haven of Crabapple. Featured in Southern Living and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles the developer’s designer, Mary McWilliams, paired southern elegance with functionality when she styled this picture-perfect urban farmhouse.
